HTC Titan II, “available in the coming months on AT&T”
Ahhh, Las Vegas…. Sin city! Most people would say that “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, but not this week! After much anticipation, CES 2012 was held in Las Vegas and let me tell you, I wish I was there!
One of the announcements to come out of the Annual Electronic show was the upcoming arrival of the “HTC Titan II”. This HTC device is running with the Windows 7.5, which is also known as “Mango.” More good news includes that the HTC Titan II will be on at&t’s brand spanking new 4G LTE network. Being on the LTE network, users should be able to see increased speeds from their HSPA+ devices. I like to think of the HSPA+ Titan as the Titan II’s little brother and based on recent announcements, it’s looking like this new Titan II is the wiser, faster and maybe even more favoured brother out of the two.
Another exciting piece of news about this device is the camera. Smartphone manufactures are starting to increase the megapixels in the camera from 5mp to 8mp. Along with this, HTC continues to move forward as they try out the 16mp rear-facing camera. The Titan II will also have a 4.7 inch touch screen and a 1.3 front facing camera that is capable of shooting video. This phone is also built with 16 GB of internal memory and a 1730 mAh lithium ion battery…not too shabby.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see this camera in action considering that my Nikon d3000 is only 12mp!!
